Annette Quijano & Sergio Granados are fighting for the future of families in Elizabeth, Kenilworth, Roselle, & Union Township

Assemblywoman Annette Quijano and County Commissioner Sergio Granados are running to be a voice for the people of New Jersey’s 20th Legislative District. That means tackling New Jersey’s affordability crisis, delivering resources for our community and continuing to fight for our families and our Seniors.

As an Assemblywoman, Annette Quijano led the charge to expand paid family leave and punish wage theft. She delivered historic property tax relief for homeowners and renters. She became the first woman and first Latina to serve as Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore. She is a determined advocate for first responders and members of organized labor. She fought to ensure every New Jerseyan has the right to receive a driver’s license and she stands with our immigrant communities and their right to pursue the American dream.

As a County Commissioner, Sergio Granados created the Union County Office of Community Engagement and Diversity, Office for People with Disabilities and Special Needs, and the Office of LGBTQ Affairs – each office was the first of its kind in New Jersey history. He implemented the transformational Arrive Together public safety initiative Countywide. He has overseen four consecutive County of Union zero-percent tax increases and he knows how important it is to make the 20th District and all of New Jersey more affordable.
